Chelsea has agreed a transfer fee with Real Madrid for Ricardo Carvalho. The portuguese player will join ex manager Mourinho subject to a medical.
Carvalho will sign a two year contract with Real Madrid. We have been rummored to sign David Luiz from Benfica as a replacement. Well, we almost have their best player (Ramires), why not sign the second best ? ;) He would cost a lot of money but the 23 year old Brazilian defender will be more than welcome in Stamford Bridge.
So, give me your opinions on Carvalho departure.

I think it's a good time to get rid of Carvalho. He's ageing, you have some good centrebacks and perhaps another on the way. I'd take 6.7 million for him anyday. Good piece of business for Chelsea.
